Students in the PS 161 Summer Art Rising program had the opportunity to learn about both the elements in design and the four elements of nature. Students created an image using oil pastel, learning shape, form, line & texture, incorporating the four elements; Fire, Air, Earth and Water. Class led by teaching Artist Arturo Garcia, assisted by two teaching interns from Columbia University.
