Doing Art Together, Inc. (DAT), a nonprofit arts education organization, has provided award-winning, hands-on, arts-based curricula to more than 100,000 children in New York City’s public schools and alternative education sites since its founding in 1982. Our teachers, all practicing artists, lead workshops throughout the five boroughs for children and youth who range in age from two to twenty-two years. With our partner schools, we organize student exhibitions, conduct teacher training programs and schedule workshops in which parents participate with their children.
